Letterbox Distribution is a direct marketing specialist operating in the London area. The company had an impressive client portfolio based largely around publishers and local government and wanted to expand in other markets, such as franchises and estate agents. Although Letterbox’s experience and technology means it can deliver highly targeted, memorable campaigns, the company was finding it difficult to cut through in a very saturated market.
We started off by conducting a strategic review of Letterbox’s existing marketing and competitor landscape, shaping a proposition and visual identity that leveraged the company’s strengths and set it apart from the many competitors. We rolled this brand platform out to a new website which better reflects the company’s capabilities.
The new website leads the market in terms of functionality and, unlike other direct marketing agencies, clearly communicates Letterbox’s offering for specific types of customers. This new structure, developed based on our research into Google search behaviour, means Letterbox will rank more highly for priority keywords. It also includes a section for regular case studies and blog posts so that Letterbox can showcase its expertise with regular, fresh content. As a result, the website positions the company for greater search traffic, and then includes tailored, relevant information to improve conversion rates.
